WTF?
What the Fake?
Fake clothing is my desperate attempt to combine cynicism, charity, and super-soft cotton tees. Doesn’t make sense? That’s okay, it doesn’t make sense to me most of the time, either. The only time it makes sense to me is the five minutes before I wake up in the morning.
During those five minutes I achieve total clarity: Fashion is superficial. Consumerism is empty. Instead of being a billboard for a smug jokes or pretty pictures, t-shirts could be so much more. They could be a catalyst for conversation and awareness. Products we consume could be vehicles for good. Fake makes perfect sense….
And then I wake up, check my email on my iPhone, drink some Evian, and take off my Calvin Klein pj’s as I hop into the shower.

hey Garrett, thanks for the comment. basically, i’m a cheap bastard, so i can’t afford to make any of these t-shirts until enough people are interested.
i should probably try to promote this stuff, and do some fancy-schmancy trackbacks, comments, blog submissions, etc.
one day…when i have time…
